White Ink Studio believes client involvement in the website design process is extremely important, however the way we partner with our clients allows for as little or as much as you choose, depending on your own level of expertise and, of course, your time restrictions.
White Ink Studio will meet with you (and anyone you designate) for an initial discussion and to brainstorm and review website design, functionality, budget and timing objectives. We prefer face-to-face, but we can also accomplish the same tasks through email, web conferencing and telephone.
White Ink Studio will prepare a detailed proposal, after collating the full client brief, (detailing web and graphic design ideas), compile a site map including self-updateable sections, project a working budget and detail the production processes required to achieve the end result. We then meet with our website designers to document the key phases of the project, timing and deadlines and invoice plans through to completion.
If you’re satisfied with the White Ink Studio proposal, a contract is signed and we proceed to the website design phase.
Our graphic and website designers get prepare several separate visuals/screenshots and present options to the client. Once a consensus is achieved and a design idea is selected, the graphic concept is further developed ready for coding.
Our website designers begin coding individual pages, functionality is programmed, and site copy content is written and added, completing the design phase.
White Ink thoroughly tests your site for errors, bugs and security issues such as restricted area access.
Your website is uploaded to its final host and connected to your domain name where it will appear live on the Internet.
You will provide you with secure access, a protected area so you can have the flexibility to modify the website text and images easily and rapidly yourself or prepare a maintenance contract and we will do all the updating at your request.
White Ink’s maintenance packages are affordable and efficient. Our team will make changes, at your discretion or according to your maintenance package, when your site needs modifications.
